About Founder & Lead Instructor
Lawrence (Larry) D'Souza has spent over thirty years building and maintaining business-critical applications on the IBM i platform, with hands-on experience spanning manufacturing, retail, telecom, insurance, and non-profit organizations across Canada, the United States, and abroad. Over that career he has worked through the platform's full evolution — from RPG/400 and fixed-format coding on green-screen terminals to modern free-format ILE RPG, service programs, and embedded SQL — giving him a rare, practitioner's view of both where IBM i development came from and where it's headed. That real-world depth, built on decades of solving production problems rather than writing textbook examples, is the foundation for every lesson in this course.
